Communication is the root of any good relationship. Here a few things each party should communicate to have a profitable and frictionless relationship.
- What does the investor actually need help with?
- What does the investor not need help with?

Do they know the lingo?
Can they perform the analysis needed?
Do they understand the market?

- Do they have a clear understanding of what they need help with?
- Do they have a POF or a track record of transactions?
How is their capital modeled?
How much capital are they looking to employ?
What is the desired rate of return?
amount of time for capital to be employed?
What is their risk tolerance?

- Are they a buy and hold investor?
- Are they looking to flip (trader really)?

We meet twice a month.
One of the premier sources for real estate investing networking and education is the SWFL REIA. In the real estate world, the SWFL REIA is different in that they do not do information product sales. Their meetings are focusing on the best ways of investing in real estate by collaborating with other property investors who are sharing their experiences.
