Lis Pendens:

—November 2016: 82 Mortgage related Lis Pendens.

—October 2016: 87 Mortgage related Lis Pendens.

—November 2015: 106 Mortgage related Lis Pendens.

Certificates of Title:

—November 2016: 116 Certificates of Title were conveyed.

—October 2016: 90 Certificates of Title were conveyed.

—November 2015: 167 Certificates of Title were conveyed.

Notes for 2016 Lee County Foreclosure Report:

—More of the same for this 2016 Lee County Foreclosure Report…

—We had a SLIGHT month over month and year over year decrease in Mortgage Related Lis Pendens Filings.

—The top ten Lis Pendens filers represent 59 percent of the filings.


—There slight increase in certificate of title conveyances month over month.

—The current trend of the distressed market NOT being a primary (last cycle) driver will continue.

Topic: Code Violations as a source of deals?

What Are Code Violations?

City and county governments have minimum standards for housing that include safety, sanitation and suitability.  When a code enforcement officer or housing inspector finds a property that does not meet these minimum standards it will be tagged with a code violation.

We will be presenting some analysis of Code Violations and what that analysis means to investors.
